NEW GUY ON THE BLOCK

Ah, yes, the COMBO BREAKER! I got nothing in terms of post-election follow up. I'm just too damn tired. I'm glad it went the way it did, and now I await some results. In the very least, I do see a lot more unity and less bitterness amongst the people in DC. Or at least it appears that way for now. Time will tell. Anyways, my favorite Harkonnen sent this image along, and I thought it was amusing. So, there's today's funny, along with a long overdue YTMND of the week (staring Glen Danzig!) which you can find a link to below.

I want to see Obama bring back the muttonchop...Van Buren style. Frickin' sweet!

All serious though, I'm very happy to see a "person of color" breaking up that string of monotonous whiteness.

Maybe other countries will like us again. Well, except for Russia. They only like missiles POINTED at us. Yeaaaaah MISSILES!

Don't you owe us some pictures of your favorite Harkonnen...?

Patience my robotic buddy. Patience. These things require tact.

Oh you Itals. I love you.

Hilarious.

Italy has a new government, like every 300 days. They don't have time for teenie tiny details.

I too wish to see pictures of your favorite Harkonnen.

Wow, I get to bust it out twice since the dawn of this rad blog:

"Beautiful, beautiful Feyd."

P.S. - Brian Herbert's water will be scattered upon the sands for his failures.

doubt there is any more harmony in dc now that obama won. it is not like they voted close to 50/50 in the last two elections. they voted over 90% for kerry too in 04. for harmony, wouldnt both sides need to be now getting along?

i do not doubt they are less bitter though. finally they voted for the right guy who won..... except for when they voted marion barry back into office. he was a real gem and they should be proud of him

I'm not saying the friggin' spawn of Telperion and Laurelin sprouted on the White House lawn or nuthin'. 90% of folk in DC were collectively bummed/pissed off for four years. It was very tangible. Everywhere. Now they are on the other half of things and it's like there's a slight chance the world won't end.

Harmony isn't ever 50/50 in my mind. That's a war waiting to happen. Having any sort of "side" doesn't equal harmony. Which is why harmony can certainly lead to being a bad thing. Did I even use the word harmony? I'm tired of typing it now.

Let us hope that Obama will be the inspiration that raises a strong generation of black men that take personal responsibilities seriously - that if you set your mind to it, a black man can be anything, even the president.

Lord knows I could have used that when I was a poor black kid making his way on the corner.

God Bless.

Dear Horse,

You are the whitest, palest white man around. I shall prove it with mind blowing photos stolen from double secret sources over the coming days.

XOXOXO

Look at you judging my by the color of my skin. Racist! You won't keep this strong black man down.

PS: That's what I get for inviting Burke over that day. Who knew he had a camera. Ah, the heady days of high school.
PPS: I could use some of that hair back, particularly in the middle-top parts of the head.

chris horse, the fact that you even know of this blogs existence proves that you are indeed not black.

taye diggs said it best in a bad 90's movie : "if you were any less black, you would be clear"
