This hit io9 the other day, so que the kids' internets postz complaints about how this is suuuuuuuuuuch a Battlestar rip-off. >>>>>> Wave motion to the face!
I can't wait to see Zandor detach his arms! Meh, they probably won't show that. And I bet IQ9 won't be in it either.
Didn't Star Blazers hit the states before the original Battlestar Galactica was released? I think the American version was a year before BSG was aired. So anyone complaining about that needs to check their math.
Besides, BSG was probably more strongly influenced by Star Wars and Star Blazers than the other way 'round.
This was the vid that I deleted, but should have kept on the page...since it's pretty cool:
You two of ANYONE out there know that I LIVE for crushing dreams. Never let me know that thing you are thinking of the most, lest I break into a 'the thing about that is...'
This is coming from the guy who thinks a movie that is 100 minutes of sick jumps and explosions would make hella bank.

This makes me ache for a live action Robotech produced by Christopher Nolan starring Ed Norton as Rick Hunter.
Also, bitches need protoculture.
bandwagon jumping or not, this looks dope!
Really?
I know I was late to the Yamato bandwagon, but the acting in that trailer looked terrible.
I don't know if it is an East v. West style thing, but flicks like Oldboy and Time and Tide just bored me to tears more than anything else.
Cue Bishop punching me in the junk riiiiiiiiiiiiight aaaaaaabbooooooooooooout nnnnnnnnnow...
don't crush my dreams, stuart.
i think it looks pretty sweet. have another look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sJrCxD3Zz0
I liked your original link goof my robot friend. But this'll do.
I'm not looking for decent acting/writing in this case Mr. Speng. Just ships in space going boom.
And Zandor fucking shit up with his robot strength.
