It is rad and from the 40's or 50's. I think it's a fox in a green hat with a messenger bag that is feeding a bunch of little birds. Some people think it's a bear. But I think the critter completely lacks tough and beastly bear arms. They seem more foxy to me. Either way, it is rad. I also enjoy believing that the words around the bottom have something to do with Mordor.

I HAVE A STEIN/BIERKRUG/HUMPEN/STEINGUT

Es ist eine heimtückische Fuchs! Definitely a fox because "fuchs", it wants to say fox, I think. But probably you knew that already. From the funny german along the trim, I'm getting: "... the fox is a läger..., or the läger is a fox"; and whatever it says around the back. But my german is shit.
Foxes are badass. I'm jealous.

Kinda like to think it looks like a German Shepherd though.
I never bothered to check the German. Just assumed it was about Mordor. And I still do. Now there are foxes in Mordor.
I definitely approve, however if drinks start to "magically" appear in it, DO NOT TRUST THEM. Unless its a white russian. That's like chocolate milk for adults
